  Rev. Doug & Tasha Martin, Pastors

Doug and Tasha Martin were elected to serve as the Pastor of The Community Church of River Oaks in March of 1996.  The family which includes four children: Cameron, Bethany, Phillip relocated from New Mexico and were joined by late-addition Katelyn here in 2001.  Tasha is a native Texan from San Angelo while Doug was born in Ohio, relocated to New Mexico at age 14, attended college in Texas at age 19, and was credentialed with the Assemblies of God in 1987.  He has since served in Chi-Alpha college ministry, youth ministry, and pastoral ministry in New Mexico and Texas.  Pastor Martin holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Southwestern A/G University where he met and married Tasha in August of 1986.  He is also accumulating hours on a Master’s Degree in Theology at TCU.  He serves on various community and school advisory boards as well as being the Secretary/Treasurer of the North Fort Worth Sectional Committee serving 30 Assemblies of God churches and over 100 Assemblies of God ministers in Northern Tarrant Country.  Political science, computer technology, vocal performance, and golf are some other areas of interest and involvement.
